What a morning….back in the water and an immediate call out!
Sunday 7th March first shout of the year boat had just gone back in the water after its 6 monthly haul out for maintenance. At 12pm we Contacted VTS for clearance to move into main harbour back to berth when they asked us to standby for possible tasking. We where then tasked to assist a 21ft motorboat with possible engine failure. With 5 crew on board we launched on service to tow the motorboat back to St Helier. The 21ft boat was taken under tow just off Echo tower and towed back to St Helier. Sir Max was then fuelled and back on berth at 2pm ready for its next tasking.
