Next up in our Meet the Crew series, say hello to Sean Durham-Waite, one of our Crew Members here at the JLA.

—

Name: Sean Durham-Waite

Position on Crew: Deck Crew

Years on Crew: Since February 2026

Sean has recently completed his first specialised subject after successfully gaining his VHF GMDSS license. As part of our in house deck crew syllabus, he is now working towards gaining his RYA powerboat certification.

Outside of the JLA, Sean is a Care Manager for Island Home Care, looking after the island’s vulnerable population.

In his free time Sean enjoys writing music, playing the guitar, reading and travelling. We’re still not entirely sure when he sleeps.
