It started as a normal Sunday for our Crew; meet at HQ for a coffee and a chin wag, followed by training on Sir Max.
Our routine caffeine had to wait as we were in a position to assist a French vessel that had lost electrical power whilst at anchor at the Minquiers.
After contact had been established with the French vessel, with an attempt to start the engine, we towed her to deeper water as the tide was ebbing. Our multi-skilled crew made short work of starting the engine to the delight of the owner.
Sir Max returned back to St Helier shortly afterwards for a well deserved fuel (and caffeine!) break.
Your boats, your crew, your lives.
