The JLA crew are trained to international recognised levels and hold Advanced Casualty Care qualifications, to ensure that when we do get the call, we can offer the best service to those in their hour of need.
Operating the most technically advanced and fastest inshore lifeboat in the UK adds to our ability to get to you fast in winds up to force 8.
Our all-weather lifeboat is nearing completion of the major engine refit and technical upgrade and should be back in the waters around our Island in a few week’s time.
As the only truly voluntary and local lifeboat service in Jersey, receiving no government support, we rely on the kind donations from the public and businesses of the Island.
