Training Update

The JLA are pleased to announce that four crew members have successfully completed and passed the AEC1 mechanical engineering course at UKSA, which is approved by the Maritime & Coastguard Agency. This is a 5 day practical and theory course with a high pass grade.

The AEC 1 theoretical learning and relevant practical hands-on trainings course provides base foundation for Small Vessel engineers from the course participants and enable students to carry out regular servicing of onboard machinery/equipment by developing a greater understanding of possible faults before they develop into major problems.

Congratulation to Ian, Ollie, Max, Jensen on the successful completion of this training.

The JLA training process ensures that all crew joining have a formalised, comprehensive and practical knowledge of all elements of our service from shore crew, mechanical maintenance, navigation, boat handling and Advance Critical Care ensuring we maintain the highest standards.
