We were honoured to carry the Baton of Hope
The Jersey Lifeboat Association is proud to have been a part of the Baton of Hope Tour 2025, supporting the vital cause of suicide prevention and mental wellbeing.
On Sunday, our inshore lifeboat Albert Pinel took the baton from East Rock Buoy across to Elizabeth Castle, where it was handed over to the next part of the relay. From there, and together with baton bearers and other vessels, we followed the inspiring journey alongside Wet Wheels into St Aubin’s Harbour, before the relay continued onshore.
This incredible event embodies community spirit, teamwork, and a shared commitment to raising awareness. We believe deeply in the message of the Baton of Hope: no one should suffer in silence, and together we can shine a light for those who feel alone. Thank you to all who took part in this initiative. We hope it sparks conversations, brings people together, and reminds everyone that help is there, and hope is possible.
