Part 5: Don’t Travel Too Far
The colder and shorter days don’t have to mean hanging up your sailing gear. With a few simple precautions, there’s no reason why you can’t enjoy the water. Just make sure you stay safe whilst doing it, by following our handy tips:
The days are starting to get longer, but it still gets dark quickly, and you don’t want to get caught unprepared. Plan your trips accordingly and don’t try to travel too far afield. If your plans are to travel further, then it’s always worth considering setting sail earlier so that you’re arriving with some daylight.
