The colder and shorter days don’t have to mean hanging up your sailing gear. With a few simple precautions, there’s no reason why you can’t enjoy the water. Just make sure you stay safe whilst doing it, by following our handy tips:
If you leave your soft furnishings on-board for a quick getaway, they can be a magnet for mildew and other unpleasantness. Why not use a vacuum bag for storage? You can also use a dehumidifier to help the air to circulate. Prop up cushions to help prevent damage.
