Earlier this year we added a significant upgrade to Albert Pinel with the addition of a fixed FLIR thermal night vision camera. The new camera was kindly funded by Building Renovations Ltd and provides enhanced capabilities to our search and rescue services.
FLIR’s thermal technology is used by the military, first responders along with commercial and recreational mariners every day.
Our fixed FLIR maritime thermal camera system gives us the power to see clearly in total darkness, through solar glare, and through light fog and smoke.
This new FLIR thermal vision camera brings a new level of clarity during confusing and dangerous situations on or around the waters of the Island.
