Emergency Flare Training

Last night (12th August), the bathing pool near La Frégate lit up in brief bursts of red and gold as our crew put their emergency flare training into action.

From handheld signals to parachute rockets, they practised with the tools that can make all the difference when a vessel is in distress. Each flare has its purpose, and knowing when and how to deploy them is a vital part of marine safety.

We train until these skills become second nature – because in a real emergency, there’s no time to hesitate. Our crew are ready, day or night, to send the signal that could save lives.
